E is for Eskwelabs - Our theme for December 2022 is Purpose π
βTis the season to be jolly! π The holiday season is a selfless time and our December theme reveal is here to guide us in gratitude and self-reflection.
Decemberβs theme is Purpose. π It is the end of the year! And as we do when something comes to a close, we look back on our journey: we reflect on our crossroads, we thank the people who have guided us, we enumerate what gave us joy, and, most importantly, we remind ourselves of our purpose. So, dear Eskweloves, letβs keep ourselves grounded and be in touch with our βwhyβ as we wrap up our deliverables and year-end reports and prepare for the holidays.
βThose who have a 'why' to live, can bear with almost any 'how'.β - Viktor Frankl
Counting down to Christmas also means counting down until the new year! Itβs almost time to start anew: to make resolutions and to strategize our learning journey ahead. With our 2022 experiences in mind and our purpose in our hearts, we aim for resilience and improvement. π― I hope our lineup of newsletter issues gives you the push that you need this December!
Some questions weβll answer through the month via our social media posts, blog posts, and in this E for Eskwelabs newsletter:
Why does one feel existential crises? As a learner, isnβt it counterproductive to experience one? πππΌ
How can I challenge myself more? Why am I afraid to step out of my comfort zone? βποΈ
Why is there a need for celebration? ππ
What can I look forward to in the coming year? β©πΏ
Why is it difficult to follow through on new yearβs resolutions?π οΈβοΈ
πΆ Song of the month πΆ
Thatβs Life by Frank Sinatra
I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king
I've been up and down and over and out and I know one thing
Each time I find myself flat on my face
I pick myself up and get back in the race
That's life (that's life), I tell you I can't deny it
I thought of quitting, baby, but my heart just ain't gonna buy it
And if I didn't think it was worth one single try
I'd jump right on a big bird and then I'd fly
We hope this βtheme revealβ email excites you for the rest of the month. See you later this month for Issue 65 and Issue 66!
